Standard Operating Procedure

The SLG continuous powder surface modification machine features a compact structure and user-friendly operation. Below is a standard process outline:

▶ Preparation Stage
  • Check all equipment connections and preheat the system to the set temperature range.
  • According to the type of powder and the desired modification effect, measure an appropriate amount of modifier (e.g., stearic acid, titanate coupling agent, silane) and dissolve or premix as needed.
▶ Feeding Stage
  • Continuously feed powder material into the machine inlet via screw feeder.
  • Simultaneously activate the modifier injection system to ensure precise dosing.
▶ Modification Reaction Stage
  • The powder is thoroughly mixed with the modifier under the action of high-speed rotating shear blades.
  • Coating and chemical reactions occur within the set temperature range (typically 80°C–200°C) and reaction time.
▶ Cooling & Discharge
  • The modified powder is rapidly cooled to room temperature using the built-in cooling unit.
  • The product is discharged automatically and can be packed or fed directly into the next process.
▶ Cleaning & Maintenance (Recommended per batch or daily)
  • After shutdown, inspect and disassemble key components.
  • Clean as necessary using anhydrous ethanol or compressed air.
